Matthew 28:16-20

In his resurrection, Jesus received all authority in Heaven and Earth as the Divine Mediator. His first edict as King was that his subjects would proclaim his reign in every corner of the earth, induct others into the kingdom through baptism, and train hearts to submit to all his law. This is the business of every believer, and we are each actively empowered by Christ to do it.
