1 Timothy 1-6

The church in Ephesus was beginning to be rocked by false teaching and endless arguments. Paul instructs Timothy in how to combat these threats and build a structure that safeguards the church, causes its members to persevere, and holds forth the true gospel. The church will stand strong when it is grounded in the ministry of the word, and served by men and women who are mature in the faith and of proven character.
