Matthew 22:41-46

Israel was looking to the Messiah who would fulfill God’s promise to David and restore David’s glorious kingdom. What they failed to see was that Scripture also testified that the Messiah would not just be the Son of David, but also the Son of God. Seeing Christ as the eternal creator of the universe and the eternal authority ends every debate we might have with him in regards to his teaching.
